New Year marks the roll out of our new strategic vision
With demand for efficient and effective accounts receivable operations more vital than ever, we’re strengthening our market-leading position with a number of new appointments and an extended service offering.
And, to make sure we stay ahead of the game, we’re underpinning our growth by significantly investing in a new Salford HQ, IT infrastructure and brand identity – all to reflect our ambitious strategic vision for growth.
As the new year begins – 2021 is our 11th in business – we’re now a team of 20-strong servicing our clients.
Along with the move into larger premises in Salford, we’ve also invested heavily in a new IT system to improve client efficiency and security, which meets the demands of increased workloads – now and in the future.
We’ve also created a new Head of Recoveries role and were delighted to welcome Lee Scott to our team. He has brought with him 26 years of legal, litigation and collections experience, so further strengthens our capabilities and expertise when it comes to collecting difficult disputed or contractual debt.
We’re also delighted to welcome two other recent recruits to our team, including receivables specialist Sharon Lornie, who enhances our collective expertise with over 21 years’ experience gained with the UK’s leading independent invoice finance specialist.
And, ever committed to bringing young new talent into the industry, Theresa Divers has joined as apprentice administration assistant.
Our Director Christine Greenhalgh said: “In just over a decade, we’ve built a national client base from scratchand become a leading player in the market. These are, of course, achievements that we’re very proud of.
“When we set out, our initial core service offering was collection, but today our combined skillset is expansive. Our clients include clearing banks, independent ABLs, insolvency firms and business owners and directors. They benefit from our expertise in invoice finance, commercial credit, legal debt recovery and, as part of the Cerberus Group, we also offer real added value.”
She continued: “Covid-19 continues to create havoc worldwide and will no doubt affect our lives for some time to come, but we’ve always approached each appointment creatively and this will stand us in good stead. Paired with our new IT infrastructure that enables us to access systems remotely, we’re perfectly placed to achieve the same results as in previous ‘normal’ times.
“With cashflow for many businesses being interrupted during the pandemic, we’re seeing invoice finance become an increasingly popular alternative funding option for businesses. As a result, we’re supporting more clients – both business owners and insolvency practitioners – to control, monitor and collect debt through this option.
“By outsourcing with an expert partner like us, each party can concentrate on its own core offering and areas of expertise, which not only control costs most effectively but also secure the best end results.
“As we passed our first decade in business, it was fitting to evaluate where we had come from, what we had achieved and our future strategic direction. Our new identity – showcased through our new website – perfectly represents our position, service offering and aspirations, now and in the future.
“These include doubling the size of our team in line with our increasing client base, as we pick up more and more work from new and existing clients. We’re all very much looking forward to the next stage of our journey and implementing our strategic vision at the start of this new year.”
