CRM helps raise £6000 for Variety
CRM’s Jo Booth (far right in pic) joined her two ‘Variety Vixens’ colleagues to host over 120 ladies from the North West professional community at the Stock Exchange Hotel Manchester and raised over £6000 for Variety, the children’s charity.
Alongside Paula Castle (left in pic) from Leonard Curtis and Fiona Parkinson (middle of pic) at Close Brothers Jo has been hosting successful professional women’s fund-raising events for many years.
This time ladies enjoyed a wonderful lunch and a Q&A session with Liz Taylor, CEO and Creative Director from North West-based event planning brand TLC. Offering a unique insight into the world of events, Liz shared her career journey in the industry, and advice for professionals on how to remain at the top of their game.
Radio personality David Dockerty hosted and acted as auctioneer of the lunch supported by comedienne Johann Roberts, and the voice of up-and-coming singing star Jess Barlow.
The event was supported by CRM’s Theresa Divers, alongside Jade Roberts and Sarah Gaskin from Leonard Curtis and Donna Fitton from Close Brothers.
Each attendee also took home a fantastic goody bag.
Jo commented: “We are delighted to see so many professional women at these events again, giving generously to support Variety, a wonderful charity making a real difference in children’s lives. That is why we do it.
“We are already looking forward to our next lunch in November. It’s a great opportunity for professional women in Manchester to meet up, enjoy some top-notch entertainment, and raise a lot of money. It’s a formula that has worked brilliantly for everyone involved.”
